Featuring: blockpartypress

Blockpartypress is the first Etsy shop I discover on Flickr. I joined a group called Etsy artists, and I saw this gorgeous tree hugger pendant there. The design is hand-stamped onto a polymer clay base, then painted and distressed. I think this colour combination is great, but you can always ask for something different.

This shop has some really great designs - very unique and organic. I can't believe I haven't seen any of them before! In store, you can find pendants, earrings (dangles and posts), cuff links, rings, magnets and art pieces. If you see a signature design in one item (say earrings) but want another (you're really looking for a necklace), feel free to ask. I'm sure you'll get exactly what you want.

Some of the pendants come as necklaces. One of my favourites is this lost lily pendant on a pretty pink ribbon. I love how the green background and round pendant make it look like the lily is sitting on a lily pad. And I have to admit, lily pads are the best aquatic plants.

Not all of the pendants are the typical clay round / square / rectangle shape. I really love this cut-out poppy pod necklace. I've never seen anything like it. In fact, I think this is one of my favourite signature designs - well, the pods and the trees. It's really hard to choose! The designs and colours are so versatile!

I think I'm going to get myself some post earrings. These fly away home ones are really cute. But I'm not sure... I think I'll go with some trees, or maybe the pods... or...

Well, I'll let you know when I decide. In the meantime, go check out blockpartypress - you won't be disappointed!

UPDATE: I decided on the "a sign of things to come" (pod) posts. Can't wait to get them!
