Sunday Seven

Here's what I'm grateful for this last week:

Sunday: a beautiful walk along the waterfront

Monday: waking up early with the sun (and Pat) and knowing I have the morning to myself

Tuesday: nice fresh salad for lunch

Wednesday: having new help in the lab

Thursday: a fuller table during lab meetings
Friday: relaxing knowing I only have one more work day before vacation!

Saturday: lunch with Pat's sister and parents followed by an evening of painting

Here's what I'm grateful for this last week:

Sunday: talking all night with Pat

Monday: playing with my new supplies

Tuesday: deciding to wear skirts all week (and trying not to complain about the heat... but... ugh)

Wednesday: writing a correlative reference

Thursday: ordering a monthly stamp kit
Friday: Downton Abbey marathon (now if only Pat would download the 3rd season!)

Saturday: a great day of shopping (almost ready for our trip!) + new books to read

Here's what I'm grateful for this last week:

Sunday: great seats at an awesome baseball game (always best when the home team wins!)

Monday: busy evenings at work

Tuesday: my windowsill garden

Wednesday: reading three books at once (been a while since I've done that!)

Thursday: the 18B PK nurses letting me finish my last two pokes on them so I can get my venipuncture certification
Friday: successfully drew blood from a patient for the first time followed by a relaxing evening playing ps3 and enjoying our games room downstairs with Pat

Saturday: first BBQ'd steak of the season followed by a fun date night at the bar eating delicious wings and watching PPV UFC with Pat

Here's what I'm grateful for this last week:

Sunday: having my gramma, aunt and cousins over for a visit (followed by an afternoon of painting)

Monday: working in my clean studio

Tuesday: delicious salad for lunch

Wednesday: gesso and glazing medium

Thursday: lovely comments on my latest work
Friday: Pat listening to me vent about a stressful day at work

Saturday: my brother and his girlfriend deciding to stay the night at our place

Sunday: another day of cleaning with great results

Monday: having the cold rain stop in time for my walk to the station

Tuesday: coming home to find the garbage and recycling taken out

Wednesday: my morning latte

Thursday: taking the time for a quick collage before leaving for work
Friday: delicious dinner with my parents

Saturday: nice quiet day stitching in my nice clean home topped off with Pat declaring my risotto the best I've made yet

Now I'm really looking forward to having my gramma, aunt and cousins over today!

Sunday: getting back home after a week away

Monday: having a day off to myself to unwind and be creative

Tuesday: getting back to work after a long time off

Wednesday: cheese, my go-to snack

Thursday: surprise visit with a friend
Friday: finishing a great book

Saturday: great day of organizing - gave away six big boxes of old clothes and one of shoes!

Sunday: visiting and supporting family after a great loss

Monday: a nice tribute for an incredible woman

Tuesday: having a day off with Pat to unwind after traveling

Wednesday: getting supplies to start the monthly 2013 woodland sampler cross-stitch

Thursday: watching the new Big Bang with Pat
Friday: spending the afternoon in clinic, meeting doctors, patients and taking blood under supervision (only three more before I'm certified!)

Saturday: hot wings, Scotch and UFC

Tuesday: week 2 of my She Art 3 workshop

Wednesday: a gorgeous sketch 

Thursday: preparing shipments (a long process becoming second nature)
Friday: finding two Curry's within a 10 minute walk from work

Saturday: that Pat can visit with sick family, even though it means me being alone all weekend

Saturday: having a clean apartment so that I can paint all day, guilt-free

Sunday: quiet Sundays when the only errand we need to make is groceries

Monday: so much appreciation for working the evening shift

Tuesday: a productive evening preparing for the next day

Wednesday: painting and mixing paint

Friday: my small hands and attention to detail that allowed me to pop our headlights back in after Pat changed them 

Saturday: my brother and sister-in-law for hosting a great party

Friday: leaving work early and staying in because of the snowstorm

Saturday: completing my venipuncture course and seeing the play, The Penelopiad

Here's what I'm grateful for this last week:

Sunday: thrifting at Talize (found two winter coats for under $15 each!)

Monday: starting a new book

Tuesday: crazy-busy days at work allowing me to bank an hour (and leave an hour early on Friday)

Wednesday: receiving my bridesmaid dress in the mail!

Thursday: finding out pumpa is finally going home tomorrow after two weeks in the hospital
Friday: going out for lunch with co-workers

Saturday: UFC "date" plus amazing wings at Boar & Wing across the street

And now I'm off to a Superbowl party at a friends! I'm bringing cookies and we're ordering Greek food (we did this last year and it arrived within half an hour - instead of the 2 or more hour wait for wings or pizza - and it's SO good). What are you doing for the Superbowl?

As I work on my 2012 recap posts and think about my goals for 2013, I'm reviewing my blog content and deciding what I want to keep and what's become tedious. I definitely want to keep Sunday Seven going as it is a constant reminder of all that is good in my life. Here's what I'm grateful for this last week:

Sunday: emptying boxes onto our new shelves

Monday: leaving work early to spend New Year's Eve at home with Pat

Tuesday: a quiet day off, relaxing, reading and playing games with Pat

Wednesday: busy days at work speeding by

Thursday: having time to cook something warm for my lunch and dinner before heading to work
Friday: my awesome lab partner

Saturday: being finished with storage in Hamilton!

December has come and its pace is full speed ahead! Here's what I'm thankful for this week:

Sunday: shopping with my own money and buying some much needed jeans and boots

Monday: signing up for a fun Christmas ornament class

Tuesday: being able to take a sick day

Wednesday: busy work days passing by in a flash

Thursday: cookies and hot chocolate provided by the hospital (along with a raffle and holiday music and someone dressed as Santa)
Friday: my co-workers for putting on a great Christmas party

Saturday: finding the perfect bar stools at door-crasher prices

I had such a great week - so many things to be thankful for!

Sunday: finding a bathroom set while the store was closing

Monday: taking advantage of cyber Monday sales (because I can!)

Tuesday: getting samples in the evening

Wednesday: sleeping in with Pat when he works from home

Thursday: GREAT day! Picked up a package of makeup from mom in the morning (Pat even drove me as he was working from home - love these wintery neutrals!):

And then when Pat picked me up in the evening at the station, a bouquet of flowers was waiting for me on the seat! He did some groceries and was thinking of me. So sweet! (Especially since he thinks cut flowers are a waste of money but knows I love them.) (OH and another bonus, my Amazon order was waiting for me too!)

Saturday: organizing the apartment
