I got my hair cut this weekend. When the hair dresser asked me when was the last time I had a cut, I really had to think. Maybe last October? It's been a long time and it was getting really long. Of course I didn't think to take a before picture, and there are surprisingly few pictures of me from the last month. So here's one from the end of May to give you an idea:
I wanted a really good trim to get rid of the dead ends and look more polished for the upcoming weddings we have to attend (and interviews, maybe, hopefully?). The hair dresser was shocked I was so nonchalant about cutting away over 4". I must be the easiest hair appointment ever! "Yeah, whatever you think will look best" is my usual line. I can't remember ever not liking my hair after a cut... it's so thin and straight and easy to manage it's hard to mess it up.

Anyway, here's the after - I've been air drying it all summer, so it hasn't been styled or anything:
From grazing my elbows to grazing my armpits - not too shabby! Definitely a bit more polished and professional. It feels really, really short now though. My braid (I always braid my hair to sleep in) is so tiny! I miss the length a little bit, but it'll grow back. It always does!
