My Creative Space

I'm still in the midst of upheaval, but I have managed to clear a space on my desk in order to create a little.

First off, I finished up that order of 100 cupcake tags:

I think they turned out super cute! I can't wait to see them in store! Now I just need to go buy ink & print up the recipe card designs I've come up with...

My notebook for The Sketchbook Project 2012 came in the other day:

There were only 16 pages though, so I decided to take it apart & beef it up a bit.

I added some colourful cardstock & another cover of cardboard & sewed it up using the holes from the staples. I wasn't too sure what binding I wanted, so I just did it up like laces. I'll redo the binding properly when I have a bit more time.

Next, I gathered an envelope of forks & spoons to use as collage elements:

So obviously I've already started - you can see the cover above - & here's a look at the first page:

Besides that, I've been sitting on the couch with this to unwind:

I recently sold my Soar cross-stitch, so I'm working on finishing up a similar piece. I really love the sunset colours in this one.
