Toffee Crunch Blondies
Ingredients:
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 (200g) bag of toffee bits
1 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
Methods:
1.  Preheat oven to 350F.  Grease a 13"x9" pan.  I used a slightly smaller one, 11"x8" & it fit perfectly.
2.  Beat the butter, brown sugar and eggs until smooth.
Make sure you pack the brown sugar.
3.  Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt.
Mix well.
4.  Fold in 1 cup of toffee bits - reserve the rest of the bag for later. You could add in 1 cup of chocolate chips now too.  I've done it before & it's delicious, but very sweet (and it's extremely sweet as it is).
